Donate to the disaster relief appeal – Qld Floods
Published January 21st, 2011 by Roslyn Garavaglia

Bonza is fortunate not to have been affected by the recent floods. Wayne, our IT Manager, came within  just two driveways from inundation and had a raging river running along his back fence. He was one of the lucky ones.

All of us at Bonza would like to express our deepest sympathies to Queenslanders who have lost their homes and businesses in this disaster.

In the spirit of the Bonza Community, I hope you don’t mind me listing all the specialist tradespeople who are a part of the Bonza family. Some of you might need their services now and down the track.

IPSWICH

We are overwhelmed by requests to fix your computers so you can get back to work. We thank you for your understanding and patience when we can’t get there in the usual speedy manner you’re used to.

—We ask those who can, to please Donate to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.

Conceit

In literature, a conceit is an extended metaphor with a complex logic that governs a poetic passage or entire poem. By juxtaposing, usurping and manipulatingimages and ideas in surprising ways, a conceit invites the reader into a more sophisticated understanding of an object of comparison. Extended conceits in English are part of the poetic idiom of Mannerism, during the later sixteenth and early seventeenth century.
